Published requirement descriptionThames Valley Police acting as lead Authority for ACRO who use ECRIS RI (European Criminal Information System Reference Implementation) which is a piece of software that enables EU member states to exchange criminal records via a messaging service. Since BREXIT there is a UK version UKCRIS RI (UK Criminal Information System Reference Implementation) which the EU will work with, with the understanding that the UK would maintain and upgrade the system beyond the version available to us at the time of our exit.
