- cancelled (17 Aug 2026), This decision follows identification of a material defect in the tender documentation. The Stream A pricing schedule issued to all bidders contained a pre-populated annual quantity figure that represented IDS's total property stock rather than a genuine annual testing volume, resulting in bidders pricing against materially incorrect information. A separate formatting defect was also identified in the Stream B pricing schedule. Both defects applied equally to all bidders and did not affect the relative ranking between bidders, but IDS did not consider it appropriate to proceed to contract award on the basis of pricing prepared against inaccurate information. IDS thanks all bidders for the time and effort invested in their tender submissions and apologises for the inconvenience caused. IDS has reissued this requirement, with corrected documentation, under reference IDS-EICR-2026, published 25 August 2026 on this service and via IDS's e-tendering portal (In-Tend). All bidders who participated in the cancelled procurement, along with the wider market, are welcome to submit a tender under the reissued procurement; no tender submitted under the cancelled procurement will be considered or carried forward.
