Coverage: 53 active published awards; 52 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

Planning and rationale

No-engagement rationaleNot published |
Procedure rationaleThe proposal is a short term extension, to allow time for the Council to complete its Transformation of working practices post Covid-19 and to address the print / scanning and mail requirements of flexible, mobile and home workers. Currently the Council has top of the range multi-function printing and scanning devices in all Corporate offices where employees physically attending has reduced substantially. The devices in those areas need to be assessed and replaced with equipment which is suitable to the new ways of working.
A short term extension will allow time for a full scoping exercise to decide how best to achieve this. This is not a compliant route in terms of the Procurement regulations it is however an interim solution while a new tender is issued, to facilitate the service of the Council |
