Purpose of the market engagement This market engagement is intended to inform the Council’s approach to the proposed recommissioning and to help ensure that the future service model is deliverable, financially sustainable and attractive to the market. It will provide potential providers with an opportunity to comment on: • the proposed scope and service model • the indicative financial envelope • market interest and potential provider appetite to participate in a future procurement process The Council intends to begin market engagement during the week commencing 19 October 2026. The format of the market engagement has not yet been determined.
