Coverage: 4 active published awards; 4 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
Due to the lack of an electronic system in one HB, development is required outside original PHW-STA-959 cost to enable the online platform to be used by the HB to add to the initial record for any positives referred, resulting in one record that will also provide the surveillance reporting data required centrally.

The following requirement is an addition to the original project. The initial project cost was 108,824.00 GBP and the additional work which is now required to complete the secure, cloud based, online triage and diagnostic software platform for Integrated Sexual Health is 8,647.00 GBP. This will take the total project value to 117,471.00 GBP and the reason for this VEAT Due to the lack of an electronic system in one HB, development is required outside original STA cost to enable the online platform to be used by the HB to add to the initial record for any positives referred, resulting in one record that will also provide the surveillance reporting data required centrally. Without this additional work the development will not be possible and the HB will have to continue to use paper records and report surveillance data through excel spreadsheets.

Procedure rationalePublic Health Wales are looking to complete work on their bespoke, secure, cloud based, online triage and diagnostic software platform for Integrated Sexual Health. The original project has identified further work required to complete the project which is unable to be carried out by another supplier due to the system being built and licenced by the incumbent supplier. Failure to complete the work will adversely affect the ability to deliver online testing in Wales, impacting patient care and leading to an in increase in STIs and unintended pregnancies.
