Publisher note: Please refer to Holm View Phase 2 Design and Build 2 of 2 for the outstanding tender documents. Notice 2 of 2 has been has been raised due to the volume of documents which must be issued for the tender. Notice 2 includes the ER documents. All other tender documents are uploaded onto this notice 1 of 2. Please ensure that all questions and tender submissions are via Notice 1 of 2. Following formal award of contract, the lead in time is to be considered by the main Contractor but it is estimated that 8 weeks will be necessary to allow for S104 Approval, S38/278 Approval and equivalent pre-commencement conditions. There is a specific stipulation in respect of methodology/type of building and the contractor must state his preference as part of his tender submission. It is estimated that the term of the build contract will be 14-16 months, but the Contractor is requested to confirm this as part of his tender return. Indicative programmes are not required at this time. Under the terms of this contract the successful supplier(s) will be required to deliver Community Benefits in support of the authority’s economic and social objectives.
