We require a solution for integrated digital research information management, with the scope of requirements encompassingA) A core module for research information management (including integration with (or replacement and migration off) the current Eprints research repository and Figshare data repository for research output and academic staff profile management),B) An ethics module for managing ethics applications and approvals, C) Functionality to enable us to manage the postgraduate research degree student lifecycle from registration to degree award, marking milestones, which integrates with our MISIS student records system. D) Reporting and analytics which support all stages of the research lifecycle and allow data to be extracted for use in our Tableau reports.E) An easy-to-use, engaging, and seamless interface for use by both academics and professional services staff, which supports the research lifecycle and acts as the ‘single source of truth’ We wish to be able to implement CRIS functionality in a staged modular approach, with initial modules covering the following core areas of functionality:• Core Research Information management – Including o integration with HR and Finance (Oracle PAFIS), o Pre- and Post-Award research funding management, including costings and project milestones, notifications of funding and knowledge exchange opportunities, o links to research outputs including integration with (or replacement of) our Research Repository (Eprints) and Figshare research data repository, o provision of researcher/academic staff profiles to encourage engagement and facilitate reporting and analytics at various levels within the organisation and integration with our mdx.ac.uk site to allow these to be presented as a means of raising our staff profile.• Post-Graduate Research Student progression – encompassing registration, key milestones, supervisor meetings and feedback, encouraging student engagement, and supporting the overall postgraduate research student lifecycle.• Ethics – Integration with Infonetica (or replacement of) functionality to manage research ethics applications and approvals. Comparable-procurement analytics

Benchmarked against retained Find a Tender procedures with CPV division 48. The category anchor is Software package and information systems (48000000); this is a deliberately broad market comparator. The comparison is shown at several levels rather than pretending one company or region is always the best benchmark.

“Reported bids” is an official aggregate, sometimes reported per lot; it is the closest available competition measure. “Named award suppliers” are winners, not all applicants.

Price-outcome signal

Not enough comparable procedures currently publish both a GBP tender value and a usable lowest-valid-bid value to calculate a responsible price-reduction benchmark. Tenderline deliberately does not infer a saving from named award suppliers or from missing award values.
