Devon County Council working alongside Devon’s District Councils and the Unitary Councils of Plymouth and Torbay requires specialist contractual, legal and Local Government Reorganisation (LGR) advisory support to assist in planning and implementing the transition to new authorities through to 31 March 2028.

The appointed advisor will provide strategic, legal and commercial advice relating primarily to contractual transitions arising from LGR (+Assets and TUPE). The nature of this work may also include some advice relating to property, assets and workforce transitions.

Extensions
The contract shall be let for a period of up to two (2) years initially, with a University option to extend for any period(s) up to the initial expiry date of the CCS framework i.e. up to 5th September 2026. The University will then have a further option to extend for any period(s) up to a date no later than 2 years following the framework’s initial expiry date i.e. up to 5th September 2028
