What is being bought
Published requirement descriptionHampshire County Council Children's Services delivers the Community Buddy Scheme as part of the council's Short Breaks offer. The Community Buddy Scheme enables children and young people with a disability or additional needs, to access their local community or support them to take part in activities or groups of their choosing within their local community. The support given by a Community Buddy enables a child or young person to experience their community or an activity/club without their parent or carer. Accessing the community can take many different forms and could include (but is not limited to); shopping, exploring public transport or making use of community spaces such as parks.
This framework was procured as a light touch procurement under section 7 of the Public Contract Regulations however there were technical issues with the find a tender system so the notices have been published under F02/F03.
