Coverage: 0 active published awards; 0 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
Trinity House are currently looking into the availability and market options for the Remote Control and Monitoring System for our Aids to Navigation. Trinity House currently operate a Central Monitoring and Control System (CMCS), which is centrally monitored by a 24/7 Operations and Planning Centre at Harwich. This allows the monitoring of marine aids to navigation in the waters of England, Wales, the Channel Islands and Gibraltar. Each monitored site/station utilises out-station telemetry units, which enables the remote operation of the fixed navigational aid and allows for observations for reliability and performance.

- Lot 1 · #1Individual lot title not publishedplannedPublished valueNot publishedTrinity House are looking into availability and market options for remote control and monitoring systems for our Aids to Navigation. We currently use a Central Monitoring and Control System (CMCS) for the collection and analysis of operational telemetry data from Trinity House sites around England, Wales and the Channel Islands. This is centrally controlled by the 24/7 Operations Planning Centre at Trinity House’s offices in Harwich, Essex. Each monitored site/station utilises out-station telemetry units, which allow the real-time communication of aid’s and operating parameters. The system allows the remote operation of fixed navigational aids, thereby significantly reducing the level of human intervention required for each site (and the associated costs of operation) and is used to establish operational trends, including power availability (by analysing battery charge levels) and generation (by checking solar panel performance). This CMCS also supports Trinity House’s lone-worker monitoring obligations, which is essential when using contracted attendants for call-outs and general housekeeping duties. Additional information: Any interested supplier should email their intention into etender@trinityhouse.co.uk where a Request for Information document will be sent out for completion and return. Tender timescales will be dependent on the information received as a result of the 'Request for Information' exercise.Contract periodNot publishedEligibilityNot publishedOptions / renewalNot published
