What is being bought
Published requirement descriptionThe Trust is seeking to appoint a single cleaning services provider to deliver school cleaning services across the whole Trust.
It is anticipated other schools will join the Trust over the life of this contract, and they will be incorporated into the central agreement when previous terms allow.
- Not divided into lots: The Trust does not have a strong economic or organisational reason not to seek a single provider for the services tendered.
- How the procedure runs: This will be a two stage process. The first stage will be to identify suitable suppliers through a shortlisting process. The second stage will include a written response and a financial response which will be moderated through supplier presentations and checking of supplier references.

- Cost: The overall cost of cleaning will be measured through the completion of the tender documentation.
- Price carries 60 of 100 points: a 10% discount moves about 6 points. This one is won on the number: sharpen the price before polishing the prose.
Price arithmetic assumes straight proportional scoring; the tender pack may use another formula.
