What is being bought
Manchester City Council's Public Realm Team is seeking to engage with the market to inform the potential procurement of a contract for the cleaning and maintenance of the Council's 103 heritage assets. These assets, many of which are listed structures, are located across the city and include war memorials, public artworks, and a variety of other historic structures.
The proposed contract will provide for the regular cleaning, inspection, and maintenance of these assets in accordance with an agreed programme and schedule of works.
The Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced contractor with demonstrable expertise in heritage asset maintenance, conservation, and restoration.
This preliminary market engagement is intended to:

Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. To ensure broad market participation, the Authority reserves the right to limit the number of attendees from any one organisation. Suppliers wishing to attend must register their interest by emailing publicrealm2@manchester.gov.uk with the Supplier Day in the subject header no later than two working days prior to the event.
