Christmas Lighting Schemes for LB Hillingdon - 2021 -2024

What is being bought
Published requirement descriptionThe London Borough of Hillingdon has setout the requirements for the provision of Christmas Lighting within the Borough for 2021 to 2024. The Council will look to award the contract for the services starting in July 2021 for a period of two (2) years with the option to extend for a further one (1) plus one (1) years.
The Council has traditionally supported the delivery of the Christmas lighting programme in the Borough’s Town Centres, Villages and Shopping Parades. There are now 27 Christmas lighting schemes that are under the Council's direct management, which include:

- Byron Road, Uxbridge Road
- Civic Centre forecourt, Uxbridge
- Crescent Parade, Uxbridge Road
- Eastcote Town Centre
- Glebe Estate, West Drayton
- Harefield Village
- Harlington High Street
- Harmondsworth Road, West Drayton
- Harmondsworth Village
- Hayes Bridge Parade, Uxbridge Road
- Hayes End Parade, Uxbridge Road
- Hayes Town Centre
- Hillingdon Circus, Uxbridge
- Kingshill Avenue, Hayes
- Kingsway Parade, Uxbridge Road
- Marlborough Parade, Uxbridge Road
- New Broadway Parade, Uxbridge Road
- North Hyde Road, Hayes
- Ruislip Town Centre
- Ryefield Parade, Uxbridge
- Sipson Village
- South Ruislip
- Sutton Court Road, Uxbridge
- Uxbridge Town Centre
- Yeading Lane Parade
- Yiewsley & West Drayton
The success of the 2020 Christmas lighting programme has resulted in the request for three further schemes to be introduced. These will still be subject to approval, but include:
- Belmore Parade, Uxbridge Road
- Harlington Road, Uxbridge, and
- Ruislip Gardens
As the programme develops, further schemes may also be added following requests from local ward councillors, residents, and businesses.
