What is being bought
In 2012 Luton Council let a tender to combine the requirements of the CCTV monitoring service and the maintenance of public space CCTV & corporate buildings CCTV and access control systems. It is now the intention of the council to further develop the contract to include further council stake holders. The contract will now include on vehicle CCTV managed by the Luton transport department and the CCTV currently installed in social housing from year 2 of the contract. Luton Control room also monitors under contract 36 cameras in the Borough for Elmbridge these cameras essentially treated as an extension to the Luton operation
