What is being bought
Published requirement descriptionBracknell Forest Council is seeking to establish a multi-supplier Open Framework for the provision of Capital Works, Planned Maintenance, Refurbishment, Lifecycle Replacement and Associated Construction Works across the Council's operational and corporate property portfolio.
The Framework will provide the Council with a flexible route to commission a range of construction-related works of varying size, complexity, value and risk profile across its estate.
The Framework is intended to commence on 1 April 2027 and may operate for a maximum period of up to eight (8) years, in accordance with the Procurement Act 2023 provisions relating to Open Frameworks. The Council intends to appoint up to eight (8) suitably qualified and experienced contractors to the Framework.

Published description of the framework
The Open Framework will be for a maximum term of 8 years (April 01, 2027 - 31 March 2035) and will be made up of a series of 3 successive framework as per below:
Framework 1 will last 3 years from the 1st of April 2027
Framework 2 will last 3 years from the 1st of April 2030
Framework 3 will last 2 years from the 1st of April 2033
Each successive framework will be reopened approximately 6 months prior to the expiry of the current framework.

The title, value and scope have been updated following refinement during the tender planning stage.
Due to unforeseen circumstances the Council will no longer be ready to publish a tender notice on the 27th July for this opportunity. The tender notice is now scheduled for publication on the 1st October 2026. This delay will not effect the proposed framework start date of the 1st April 2027.
