Published requirement descriptionContract Details Notice following publication of Contract Award Notice and standstill period for Cadw's Grounds Maintenance Services Contract. The contract will cover Grounds Maintenance (GM) Services on a multi-region basis to cover all Wales with the exception of Ynys Mon and north-east Wales (exact boundaries included in the ITT) as these received no bids and are being procured under a separate contract opportunity ref: OCID: ocds-h6vhtk-060dca. The Grounds Maintenance Service will include (but is not exhaustive) work areas covering Soft Landscaping, Grass, Planted Areas, Hedges, Trees, Leaf Clearance, Reens, Ponds, Ditches and SWALES, Fertilisers, Invasive Species, Hard Landscaping, Boundary Walls, Gravel Borders, Weed Control

- Technical Evaluation: Technical Q1 (15%) - How would you implement a typical grounds maintenance job which includes trimming a perimeter hedge 250m long 1.8m tall, maintaining short grass (12-38mm) inside the monument 150m2, managing a wildflower meadow on the outside of the monument totalling 300m2 and three formal planters (2m2 each) next to the entrance of the site? Technical Q2 (10%) - How would you manage controlling the woody growth (trees 2-3m tall with stems 5cm thick) around the outside of a monument on a steep slope? Technical Q3 (10%) - How would you control self-seeded vegetation on a monument? Technical Q4 (10%) - How will you deliver the day to day operations of the contract? Technical Q5 (5%) - Please provide evidence of where you have supported a customer with the development and/or revision of a grounds maintenance strategy? Technical Q6 (10%) - Please include up to 3 case studies that demonstrate your approach to delivering grounds maintenance to similar clients.
