We are the UK's largest gas distribution network, owning four of the nine regional distribution networks and connecting 11 million homes and businesses through 82,000 miles of pipeline. We operate across four regions: East of England, North London, North West, and West Midlands. We are proud to be at the heart of heat and we work closely with our communities to keep them safe, warm, and connected, providing extra care for those who might need it in a gas emergency. We maintain, repair, and replace gas pipes to ensure the safe and reliable flow of gas now and long into the future. We manage the national gas emergency number on behalf of the gas industry, responding to gas escapes and repairing leaks. We are looking to establish a Framework agreement with Property Main Works Contractors that can meet Cadent's requirements at a local/regional level. Our requirement will be split into four separate Lots representing each region of our gas network. Lot 1 - East of England Lot 2 - North West Lot 3 - West Midlands Lot 4 - London Cadent are looking to award up to 4 suppliers per network/region. Scope of works: • Refurbishments • Replacements • Minor New Works Covering the following trades: • Carpentry • Brickwork • Painting & Decorating • Plastering • Partitions & Ceilings • Plumbing • Ground Works
