What is being bought
Published requirement descriptionThe appointed concessionaire shall be responsible for selling and manage advertising in approved display boards, utilising the latest technology in and around the city, which includes:
- The supply, installation, maintenance, and removal (as necessary) of a minimum of 34 approved bus shelters / display boards in Peterborough during the initial installation phase of the contract.
- The selling and management of advertising space on the display boards/units.
- Making proposals for additional bus shelters / display boards to be supplied, installed, maintained, and removed (as necessary) at new sites throughout the contract period.
- Supplying, installing, maintaining, and removing (in exceptional services) display boards/units at the request of the authority.
- Relocating and/or removing existing boards which are affected by development works (subject to approval by the authority and at the expense of the concessionaire).
This is a concessions contract - the successful concessionaire will be required to pay a guaranteed quarterly payment to the authority, in addition to a percentage of the revenue generated through the sale of advertising space.
- No preliminary market engagement: the pre market engagement was carried out prior to PA23 so the advert was not published on FTS
