What is being bought
Procurement of externally commissioned buildings-based day services for a period of two years effective from 1 September 2024, resulting in a Open Select List of approved providers. Buildings Based Day Care Services offer a wide variety of activities and support to older people and working age adults with lifelong disabilities across Lincolnshire. The ambition of the Service is to help people to live independent and fulfilling lives and to support families to continue to care for each other, to have a role in encouraging Individuals and families to remain as healthy, safe and independent as they can. The Provider shall ensure that people, can participate and make important contributions to their local communities. Day Care shall be delivered through two core rates, along with a 1:1 rate; • Rate 1 – adults with a learning disability, including autism, physical disability, mental health needs or older people with higher level/complex needs. • Rate 2 - standard rate for older people. • 1:1 Rate Provider can opt to deliver half days and/or full days.
