Publisher note: ENGAGEMENT SESSION: An engagement session will be held via Microsoft Teams on Thursday 15th February 2024 at 12pm. Attending will be members of WYCA’s Mobility Services and Commercial Teams, and Go4Growth (an organisation WYCA is partnering with to provide support to bidders for this upcoming procurement). The purpose of this session will be to give a high-level overview of the requirement, and notify bidders of the key changes to the procurement process since previous School Transport procurements. Bidders will be signposted to information that may support them during the procurement process. To attend this session, please complete the form linked with your details and an invitation will be circulated in due course: https://forms.office.com/e/6yNSPs00jn KEY POINTS FOR BIDDERS: - WYCA is keen for both new operators and incumbents to be involved in engagement and the subsequent procurement process. - The aim of this procurement is to secure reliable, value for money services for transporting pupils to and from school. - It is important that all Operators interested in bidding attend the engagement session. - Bidders should consider early registration for WYCA’s e-tendering system. Please note this PIN is for prior information only to inform potential suppliers of an upcoming opportunity. There are no documents attached to this notice. Any subsequent tender documentation in connection to this opportunity will go live on our e-tendering system YORtender, in due course (https://yortender.eu-supply.com).
