What is being bought
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (GG&C) (“the participating authority”) and NHS Golden Jubilee require suitably qualified, competent and experienced Consultants to provide a range of Asbestos Surveying and Analytical Services through a framework agreement. In addition NHS Lanarkshire will have the option to access this framework agreement if they so choose. NHS GGC are aware the NHS Lanarkshire are currently looking to progress their own procurement to establish a contract separate to this procurement.

The total spend for this framework agreement is estimated to be approximately GBP 250000 per annum. The framework agreement will initially be for a period of 36 months with estimated value of GBP 750000 thereafter a 1 x 12 Month Extension option is available. The successful contractors must be able to play an active and effective role in understanding the needs and requirements of a large and complex building stock and will be expected to support the Board through the delivery of a comprehensive and demanding package of services. Although NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde will aim to achieve the estimated level of spend detailed under this framework agreement there will be no commitment or guarantee as to the volume of business that contractors may/may not receive by virtue of being appointed upon this Framework Agreement.
