Animal feed goods and services• An animal feed contract, including other services and goods, is to be offered for tender at TCCG including Duchy College Stoke Climsland, Bicton College, Budleigh Salterton, and Duchy College Rosewarne.• This is likely to be for a three year term, starting from September 1st 2021.• This will be to offer the supply of a variety of animal feeds products, as well as the option to include nutritional advice, to these sites.• Products will include but are not limited to dairy parlour cakes, TMR blends, youngstock rearing products, additional feed products as required to run the dairy herd, dry cow products, as well as a range of feeds for sheep and pigs.• Methods which will allow us to purchase these products at best value will be invited, including the provision for forward purchasing.• Expected qualities and qualities required, including expected specifications of products will be requested as part of the tender.• Methods of monitoring the performance of our business, and forms of benchmarking, will be requested.• A single contact person will be requested.• Details of the logistics of delivery will also be required.• There will be an opportunity for questions to be asked in person during the tender process to allow any queries to be raised and addressed.• We will be interested to know how you reduce your environmental footprint, and how you can help us reduce ours.A key element of this process will be around Future Farm, our flagship dairy facility at Stoke Climsland. We will be interested in how you will help us make the most of this resource, and if you have any desire or need to consider a range of trials and research opportunities. Equally though, we will also be interested in your opinion on maximising the use of our other businesses, especially at Bicton Home Farm, Bicton College.We will request information on how the winning supplier and ourselves could work together more closely.This could include anything that is able to be offered but could include:• Site visits that the supplier could offer to our learners.• Other goods and services that can be sourced through the company - through stores or other departments of the company• Ability to offer teaching expertise or guest lecturing to our learners• Links to industry professionals that can visit us or who our learners can visit• Mutual marketing benefits to each party• Apprenticeship linkages and benefits - regards the Apprenticeship levy.• Training that TCCG can offer to the supplier yourselves.
