Coverage: 85 active published awards; 85 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
Under this contract, the Provider will work in partnership with children and young people, parents/carers, schools and Buckinghamshire Council to provide education and support services to children and young people in Buckinghamshire.
The impact of the pandemic has seen nationally an increase in anxiety, a detrimental impact on young people’s mental health and wellbeing which has led to an increase in emotionally based school avoidance. To ensure all pupils are fully supported and able to access education, the Council is seeking a provider who will be able to meet the individual needs of children and young people to successfully support, engage and re-integrate them into education. A programme of effective support, successfully delivered at the appropriate time, is required to ensure every child is able to meet their full potential.
The primary objective of this service is to ensure children and young people are re-integrated to access education at school or their next placement whether it be training, work or college. We anticipate this to be delivered through a flexible approach with on-line education and in-person education pathways, pastoral care and compassion to support the child or young person on their education journey. This is particularly significant for those pupils who have additional support needs and vulnerabilities which can lead to them not fulfilling their potential. The provider will have a progressive or graduated approach to deliver the service outcomes based on an individual child or young person’s requirements. The provision will meet the needs of Key Stage 2, Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5.
The contract commencement date will be 1st September 2022 to 31st August 2025 (Two optional extensions 1st September 2025 to 31st August 2027 and 1st September 2027 to 31st September 2028).
The contract is on a pay as you go basis. The estimated contract spend is £234,000 per annum. This is only an estimate and the actual spend maybe higher or lower than this figure. The total estimated contract value of the contract for the three year initial contract period is £702,000.
