Coverage: 53 active published awards; 45 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
“AGHS Refactor is a project with an overall aim to upskill UK industry to design, modify and operate tritium plans for fusion by leveraging full UK supply chain. UKAEA’s Active Gas Handling System (AGHS) is designed to supply, recover, process and recirculate the hydrogen isotopes including tritium used by the Joint European Torus (JET).
This Request For Information (RFI) scope concerns the safe re-purposing of space within the AGHS following de-commission of legacy AGHS equipment. Project outputs expected to be delivered by contractor include:
• Conecptual AGHS space re-purposing study
• Hazard identification – with a focus on safe construction while AGHS Plant is operational
• Estimation of cost and schedule
• Concept design review submitted to UKAEA for comment and review
Specified contractor deliverables will be outlined by UKAEA at ITT submission. “
