Official Requirement Description:
Adults Home Care service provision will be split across three (3) groups with a total of fifteen (15) Lots:
1. Group A (Lots 1-5): Adults' Home Care - Primary Provider (Core services);
2. Group B (Lots 6-12): Adults' Home Care - Secondary Provider (Core services); and;
3. Group C (Lots 13-15): Adults' Home Care - Specialist services.
The Council is therefore seeking to award fifteen (15) cost and volume contracts to successful bidders as part of this Procurement and it is anticipated that the contracts will be fully operational by 2 November 2026 (this may be subject to change) and will continue for a period of four (4) years from that date with an option to extend, at the Council's discretion, for up to four (4) years (two (2) years plus two (2) years) unless terminated in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of the Contract.
Transfer of existing care packages are within the scope of this Procurement.
