Coverage: 8 active published awards; 8 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
For the avoidance of doubt this is not a Call for Competition, this is to initiate a Market Engagement process.
Staffordshire County Council is committed to working alongside Providers of all Community-Based Opportunities for Older People & Physical Disability and the VCSE sector to support and empower our communities. The Council therefore wish to meet with Providers to informally talk about:
• current Day Care Services and Community-Based Opportunities in each district locality scoping need and gaps in service provision in each district locality
• identifying what aspirations you have for future service delivery.
The main purpose of this Market Engagement is to consider how Day Care Services and Community-Based Opportunities for Older People & Physical Disability across Staffordshire can continue to be best provided in terms of :-
• geographical breakdown, to ensure appropriate service coverage
• improved choice of Services on offer and accessibility to Individuals.
This is a great opportunity for the Council, Providers and VCSE to work together to look at how we can:-
• Build capacity in communities to support future service delivery and shape the vision for the future service
• Improve and maintain individuals' health and well-being through increased independence, choice, control, dignity and quality of life.
• Promote independence and enable individuals to become an active member of society and the community.
• Address needs of the younger adult cohort for both high complex and lower level physical disabilities
• Recognise and deliver the needs of a community.
Meetings will take place with Providers during June/July 2022.
If you are interested in attending either a face to face meeting or via Teams please confirm your preference via email to
lisa.dobric@staffordshire.gov.uk, a meeting invite will then be forwarded to you.
We also recommend you register on the Council's e-tendering system https://supplierlive.proactisp2p.com/Account/Login.
If you are unable to attend a meeting with the Council you can complete a Providers Market Engagement Questionnaire via the below link.

The closing date for all completed Market Engagement Questionnaire will be by midnight on June 19th, 2022. Once submitted the questionnaire will be sent automatically to Lisa Dobric at lisa.dobric@staffordshire.gov.uk
Please note the Council are not looking at contracting at this early stage just scoping service to inform future commissioning intentions.
