The Council is seeking to procure a provider to deliver two Housing Support Solution Service contracts:- Lot 1 - Supported Living Service The Supported Living Service will deliver 24/7 care and support to 6 individuals within a specific property at Cherry Tree House.     The service provides low level support to maintain and increase independence for people, with a Learning Disability and/or Autism, who are living in their own accommodation in the community. The service does not provide personal care. The service currently supports around 30 people in 3 distinct areas of Rotherham; Thurcroft, Thrybergh and Kimberworth Park. People live close by, within walking distance of each other, to ensure the feeling of Community is developed. Peer to peer support is an essential part of the offer in addition to the formal support offered through the service. People currently accessing the service may or may not have eligible assessed needs and some have been part of the service for many years. There is a need to expand the current provision across the Borough to increase the availability of this type of low-level support to maintain and increase the independence of people with a Learning Disability and/or Autism living in and moving on to their own accommodation in the community. Consideration will be given to increasing the budget for this service in the future. This would allow for the service to be expanded to support more people.
