- Price carries 30 of 100 points: a 10% discount moves about 3 points. The method statement decides this lot, not the discount.
- “Tech Enabled Discharge; Remote Monitoring Tech” is a dynamic market: the contest is a place on its panel, not a single contract.
Price arithmetic assumes straight proportional scoring; the tender pack may use another formula.

- Change A 12 month extension as allowed for in the Contract Award Notice so expiry date is now 31.03.2027 and an increase in value (50% of the original contract value), from £214,000 to £321,450 ex VAT, Need for modification brought about by circumstances which a diligent contracting authority/entity could not foresee: A 12 month extension as allowed for in the Contract Award Notice and this modification is for an increase in value (50% of the original contract value) this is due to the rollover of funding as the pilot scheme was not completed on time due to NHS Contracting and Governance requirements and lower than anticipated patient volumes at the start of the pilot. Ensuring Service Continuity and Patient Safety are paramount to this contract. There is no material change to the economic balance of the contract and will enable the Authority release the benefit of the pilot scheme. Re-procurement at this stage would introduce avoidable cost, delay and operational risk without delivery any additional benefit. This notice is in accordance with Regulation 72(1)(c) - no standstill period applies.

- Change The value of the contract has increased from £1,400,000 to £2,100,000 and extended from 31.03.26 to 30.09.27., Need for additional works, services or supplies by the original contractor/concessionaire: Interoperability and Interchangeability - a new supplier cannot provide the services without causing incompatibility issues and a replacement of hardware/software would be required leading to additional costs. Economically Disproportionate - Any new supplier would have a mobilization fee whereas the incumbent would not. This would cause a duplication of costs for WM5G. Significant inconvenience - The change would cause major disruptions to 331 residents involved in the project, not only in loss of continuity of service but also to their wellbeing as a new service provider would have to enter their homes.
