Coverage: 2 active published awards; 0 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Price reduction compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

Procedure rationaleEnvirocloud were awarded the water hygiene sampling contract, based on costs and quality of documentation compared to previous sampling contractors. The trust also employed Envirocloud to undertake a water hygiene audit at both hospitals. Due to the vacancy of the previous Authorising engineer for the Trust, Envirocloud was given a 3 year water hygiene AE’s contract .

Due to the water hygiene issues at TWH and building projects at MSH, it made sense to issue Envirocloud the consultancy services for these, so that they didn’t conflict if the Trust employed a third party. It was at the time unknown how involved these would be? Additional sampling due to the increase of legionella and pseudomonas has increased the annual sampling costs |
