Coverage: 1 active published awards; 0 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Price reduction compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

Procedure rationaleHarrogate Borough Council (HBC) is set to merge with other Yorkshire based local authorities, with the new Council being vested in April 2023. HBC's current insurance arrangements are due to expire shortly. HBC are seeking to appoint a short term extension of contract with the current provider to cover the period October 2022 to March 2023 inclusively. It is not felt that competitively tendering this requirement would be in the public interest, both in terms of the cost associated, and any risk associated with changing providers for this short period of time. |
