In July 2025 West Northamptonshire Council appointed Infinity Group to develop and implement a housing new asset management. This contract was originally procured through the GCS G:cloud 14 framework.
The contract variation is required following a programme review which identified additional delivery, technical, data migration, testing and business readiness activities necessary to successfully implement the BRIK Housing software solution. The variation extends the implementation period and associated supplier support to enable delivery of the approved programme and system implementation scope whilst maintaining service continuity and reducing implementation risk.
This notice has been issued as the additional requirements have also resulted in an increase to the contract value by approximately 60%, however, due to the nature of this project and the fact that the appointed supplier is already developing and implementing the new system on behalf of WNC it is not feasible to seek alternative providers for this additional requirement.
The total value of the contract includes an optional 1 year extension in addition the the variation value.

The Authority considers that the proposed contract modification is necessary to support the successful implementation of the BRIK Housing Programme
The Authority has concluded that the additional implementation, technical, migration, testing and business readiness activities are closely connected to the existing contract and that the appointment of an alternative supplier would create significant technical, operational and delivery risks.
The Authority is therefore publishing this Voluntary Ex Ante Transparency Notice to provide transparency regarding its intention to enter into the proposed contract modification
