The Authority are seeking to award a contract for the provision of drainage construction works, including associated new below-ground drainage runs, manholes and associated reinstatement works within the existing site.
The Authority have identified a requirement to upgrade drainage at Clyst St George Fire Station (Station 45) and Urban Search and Rescue (USAR, Station 60) facility to improve the performance of the existing drainage system and to mitigate flood risk to neighbouring properties. The works are expected to comprise primarily new below-ground drainage runs, manholes and associated reinstatement works within the existing site.
Contract commencement is anticipated in September 2026.

Lot awarding rule: Tender submissions will be evaluated on a Price/Quality percentage split as follows: 70% = Price 30% = Quality Pass / Fail = Health & Safety Questions Quality will be assessed via three (3) quality questions which have been weighted as follows: 10% Method of Delivery/Approach 10% Programme 10% Environmental & Sustainability There are five (5) self-certify pass/fail health and safety (H&S) related questions regarding general policy on H&S, access to competent H&S advice/assistance, employee training on H&S, risk assessment and safe systems of work, and lone working procedures. Suppliers will be required to advise of any HSE or EA enforcement notices Full details provided in the ITT document.
