Coverage: 29 active published awards; 29 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

Planning and rationale
Planning budgetNot published |
No-engagement rationaleNot published |
Procedure rationaleOnce the tuners are installed within a cryomodule, they will be inaccessible for maintenance without extensive engineering works, causing significant downtime at great financial cost. It is for this reason that the tuner must operate reliably at temperatures of 2K for an operational period of 20 years minimum. This SSA relates specifically to the purchase of the electromechanical actuators, which perform slow/coarse tuning of the cavities. |
