Payment obligations depend on the applicable regime and contract. Consult the official documents.
Coverage: 2 active published awards; 2 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Price reduction compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

Procedure rationaleThe Hydra PFIB can provide gallium-free milling with switchable plasma sources, which is a critical part of the requirement. This PFIB is more precise, yielding smoother lamellas than conventional FIB and allowing milling refinement with different sources - very important for recording high-quality tomograms through cryo-ET and performing in situ structural studies of complex systems. The PFIB source is protected by patents, therefore Regulation 32 2(b) (ii) & (iii) are applicable for this procurement.
