Coverage: 12 active published awards; 11 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Price reduction compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

What is being bought
This requirement is for a regenerative DC load capable of sinking 9500A at 50V, returning the power to the grid with a high degree of efficiency.
The primary requirement of the system is to act as a constant resistance test load during acceptance testing and commissioning of a replacement highly stabilised DC current controlled power supply for the ISIS synchrotron, where testing with the real load is not practical.

The primary requirement of the system is to act as a constant resistance test load during acceptance testing and commissioning of a replacement highly stabilised DC current controlled power supply for the ISIS synchrotron, where testing with the real load is not practical. The load must be able to present a pre-programmed constant resistance to the power supply output over a range of 4mΩ to 5.25mΩ. Following this testing the regenerative load will be re-purposed as test loads for future DC PSU testing and development and as such must be modular in construction to give increased flexibility in load specification.Contract periodNot publishedEligibilityNot publishedOptions / renewalNot published
