Fragile samples, that require extreme care during transport and storage in a temperature controlled, clean environment. Currently stock level of 151 pallets. Equal to 181.2 m2, and 434.88 m3. The temperature set point of storage: -25°C. Any new facility that could offer lower temperature storage may also be beneficial i.e. storage of -40°C for up to 10 pallets would be highly desirable. Transportation from the storage facility to BAS and vice versa in temperature controlled vehicles with a set point of -20°C and the temperature recorded for our records.. Additional information: Required; sample boxes to be stored in a clean environment, free of dust or contaminants; not to be stored with, or immediately adjacent to foodstuffs or other substances that may cause issue for cross contamination. Shared and accessible inventory.
