Coverage: 3 active published awards; 3 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

Planning and rationale

No-engagement rationaleNot published |
Procedure rationaleThe LMS facility has 3 Illumina sequencers: Miseq, Nextseq500 and Nextseq2000 that are used to deliver the sequencing services.
Illumina uses the Sequencing by Synthesis technology and manufactures sequencing kits to be used with their instruments to deliver highly accurate base-by-base sequencing and robust performance across multiple genomes. Illumina is the only manufacturer and supplier of these sequencing kits and we are not aware of any alternative kits/supplier for this particular type of sequencers. |
