TVCA-PROC-0843 - Teesside Digital Trade Testbed (TDTT) portacabin extension

Tees Valley Combined Authority (TVCA) (the ‘Contacting Authority’), part of the Tees Valley Combined Authority Group, has awarded a contract to Anmer Construction Limited for the design, manufacture and installation of a single-storey extension to the existing portacabin facility at the Teesside Digital Trade Testbed (TDTT), a Teesside Freeport-funded project located at Teesside International Airport.

The extension will be constructed on pad foundations that were installed as part of the original site development to facilitate future expansion. The appointed contractor will undertake the roles of both Principal Designer and Principal Contractor and will be responsible for all associated design and construction activities.

The scope of the contract includes the preparation and submission of all required planning application documentation and building regulations approval documentation to Darlington Borough Council. The contractor will also be responsible for preparing and providing all necessary project documentation, including risk assessments and method statements, to support approvals required from Network Rail and the Civil Aviation Authority prior to installation, via TVCA's established engagement arrangements with those organisations.
