Lot details

Lot 1

The development partner will work with Carmarthenshire County Council to provide good quality affordable homes for families, elderly and disabled. The properties will need to be of a mixed tenure and be affordable to rent and buy. This will need to be delivered in line with our corporate strategic regeneration plans to deliver new affordable homes across the county. The development partner will provide significant investment and regeneration expertise and contribute to transforming the overall economic, environmental, cultural, and social well-being of the Tyisha Ward. Alongside the housing-led developments, the partner will improve aspects of the public realm, community facilities, and restoring or redeveloping existing buildings at the key sites. The Council requires the partner to jointly develop initiatives to benefit local economic development while improving skills, ambition, health and resilience across the Tyisha ward ensuring communication and engagement is key during the delivery. The aim of this Notice is to assist Carmarthenshire County Council to ascertain how potential development partners will develop new innovative solutions to achieve the above objectives. A previous successful Early Market Engagement was conducted in 2022 and the Council is now looking to progress with finding a suitable partner to help achieve the existing ambitions for the area with a partner appointment planned for spring / summer 2024. Comparable-procurement analytics

Benchmarked against retained Find a Tender procedures with CPV division 45. The category anchor is Construction work (45000000); this is a deliberately broad market comparator. The comparison is shown at several levels rather than pretending one company or region is always the best benchmark.

“Reported bids” is an official aggregate, sometimes reported per lot; it is the closest available competition measure. “Named award suppliers” are winners, not all applicants.

Price-outcome signal

Not enough comparable procedures currently publish both a GBP tender value and a usable lowest-valid-bid value to calculate a responsible price-reduction benchmark. Tenderline deliberately does not infer a saving from named award suppliers or from missing award values.
