Official UK procurement notice
Traffic Signal Term Maintenance Services
Authority: North Lincolnshire Council (Local council)·On behalf of: North East Lincolnshire Borough Council
What is being bought
Published requirement descriptionThe Authority sought to establish a framework agreement with a suitably qualified and experienced supplier of "Traffic Signal Term Maintenance" Services.
- Not divided into lots: Due to the nature of the business, there will not be enough work to attract suppliers to bid for the contract if the amount of work would be diluted even further between numerous suppliers. This is why we are jointly procuring with NELC to make it a viable contract and offer the best value for money.
CPV: Construction work

- Price
- Quality
- Social Value
- Price carries 60 of 100 points: a 10% discount moves about 6 points. This one is won on the number: sharpen the price before polishing the prose.
- “Traffic Signal Term Maintenance Services” is a framework: the contest is a place on its panel, up to 1 suppliers, not a single contract, and call-offs are awarded directly: getting appointed is the whole game.
Price arithmetic assumes straight proportional scoring; the tender pack may use another formula.
