Published requirement descriptionWWU Transport Department has an immediate requirement to order approximately nine hundred (900) to one thousand (1000) over the next five years, with orders placed at an approximate 200 vehicles per calendar year. The following specification detail the requirements, and the vehicle will be supplied empty from the manufacturer for conversion to WWU requirements at our approved conversion agent. The vehicle must be capable of operating continuously at maximum Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) and able to tow at stated GCW.

Stage 3 - Invitation to Tender: Technical, Commercial and Contracting. Stage 4 - Negotiation. Please refer to the tender documents for more information related to each stage.

Published award criteria (3)
- Technical: This will be comprised of two stages; Vehicle Submission Appraisal and Technical Service based questions. - Vehicle Submission Appraisal (Pass/Fail) - Technical Submission Evaluation (50%)
- Commercial Evaluation: The commercial envelope will consist of the following components and the total price including discount and delivery fee shall be used as the basis for scoring. • LCV Bid Price(s) (£). • Discount(s) (%). •Total LCV Bid Price(s) less Discount (£). •Delivery Fee(s) to Convertor (£) per Vehicle.
- Contracting Evaluation: Bidder shall be permitted to submit marked comments and feedback on the WWU terms and conditions. These shall be scored by the Legal against the agreed contract scoring 0 to 100 methodologies.
- Price carries 40 of 100 points: a 10% discount moves about 4 points. The method statement decides this lot, not the discount.
Price arithmetic assumes straight proportional scoring; the tender pack may use another formula.
