Procedure rationaleThe Ministry of Defence intends to award a contract to Arinc Incorporated for the estimated value of £284,000.00 ex VAT pursuant to the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (PCR 2015) using the negotiated procedure without prior publication of a contract notice for the Provision of C-17 Air Traffic Control (ATC) and Operational Control Satcom Data Link Service. This procedure is considered appropriate due to Arinc currently providing the service and have been identified as having the specific technical integration and knowledge skills to successfully deliver the required service. Arinc Incorporated have a complete understanding of the C-17 Data Link requirement. This is further supported by no expressions of interest and/or queries received from the market in response to the Request for Information published on 23rd May 2022 via Defence Sourcing Portal.
