Published requirement descriptionMilton Keynes City Council are currently out to tender for the provision of a contractor for the removal of bodies where a death has been referred to HM Coroner for Milton Keynes.If the Coroner becomes aware of a body in their area and has reason to suspect the cause of death is violent, unnatural or unknown, or the deceased died in custody or state detention, the Coroner has the power to undertake enquiries into the death which may include a post mortem being carried out.Suppliers that would like to take part in this tender process are invited to Express Interest upon which the will be given access to the full tender documentation delivery through this e-tendering system.When the tender documents have been made available involved suppliers will receive notification via email and the tender documents can be accessed from the My Tenders area of this website and selecting the View Details button of this project.

- Review procedure
The Council will incorporate a minimum 10 calendar day standstill period at the point information on the award of the Contract is communicated to tenderers. Applicants who are unsuccessful shall be informed by the Contracting Authority as soon as possible after the decision has been made as to the reasons why the Applicant was unsuccessful. Applicants may seek further clarification from the Contracting Authority following receipt of this information and the Contracting Authority will provide further clarification as appropriate. If any clarification regarding the award of the Contract has not been successfully resolved, an Applicant can consider its option under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. Applicants would need to obtain their own legal advice.
