Coverage: 3 active published awards; 1 bid reports (which may be per lot). Supplier values exclude multi-supplier awards, frameworks and DPS, and use GBP only. They are published award values, not payments. Published-to-award variance compares single-lot, single-award, single-supplier GBP procedures with explicitly non-framework/non-DPS status; increases remain in the average. Unpublished data stays unknown. Awarded suppliers are winners, not all bidders.

Planning and rationale

No-engagement rationaleNot published |
Procedure rationaleThe Agency is currently in the process of conducting a further in depth review in order to implement the Government Digital Services process to develop a new requirement for both SMarT and SMarT Plus which meets the GDS model requirements. This process will allow us to assess potential alternative user friendly models of service delivery to manage claims for both schemes and consider the need to build the new technology.
The current contract for the management of SMarT claims expires 31 March 2021, pending our evaluation of the results of this review, and to ensure a continuation of this service, it is our intention to direct award a short-term contract to the incumbent supplier, Ricardo Energy and Environment. |
