Publisher note: The Terms and Conditions of the current contract for WHSCT let from Framework Agreement 118477 has been varied to allow for 3 x 6 months provision for extension, which may be utilised where the renewal procurement exercise is delayed, where there are no suitable tenders or where the procurement is the subject of a legal challenge preventing the award of the contract(s). This Modification Notice is to inform the market that the contract outlined earlier may be extended by up to 18 months over and above the duration stated in Section II.2.7.

This Modification Notice is to inform the market that the contract outlined earlier may be extended by up to 18 months over and above the duration stated in Section II.2.7., Need for modification brought about by circumstances which a diligent contracting authority/entity could not foresee: This modification is made under the provisions set out in Regulation 72 (1) (c) (i), (ii) and (iii). The need for contract modification has been brought about by the unforeseen circumstances causing delay in the tender process and is required to ensure continuity of contractual cover until the tender process can be concluded.
