    • Change The Housing Executive is undertaking a major strategic review of its telematics system, including consideration of a business requirement to introduce additional hardware across its fleet. This is likely to have a significant impact on any future procurement. Therefore the Housing Executive requires to modify the exisitng contract term and value., Need for additional works, services or supplies by the original contractor/concessionaire: Proceeding to replace the current telematics system in advance of the outcome of this review would introduce uncertainty and may result in a contract that does not fully meet the Housing Executive’s future requirements or offer optimal value. It could also lead to operational disruption. In addition, initiating a competition at this stage would likely result in a duplication of implementation costs, which will be avoided through an extension of the existing contract. Therefore the Housing Executive intends to modify the contract's term and value no sooner than 30 days from the publication of this notice.
