What is being bought
This notice is for information only and is not the commencement of a procurement process. Surrey County Council Commissioners will be undertaking a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) under the Light Touch Regime, under regulation 74 of The Public Contracts Regulations 2015 to secure contracts of a minimum of a 4-year duration with multi providers across the county of Surrey to support eligible individuals in need of the following:
The aim of the Service is to ensure older adults in Surrey have access to residential care with or without nursing that can enable them to meet their health and social care needs and outcomes twenty-four hours a day, 365 days a year. The Care Home will provide Services with or without nursing for a Person who is eligible in accordance with the Care Act 2014 and/or the eligibility criteria for NHS Funded Nursing Care or Continuing Healthcare.
The Provider will provide care and support in accordance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 as monitored, inspected and regulated by Care Quality Commission to ensure Services meet fundamental standards of quality and safety. The Provider will also observe the principles of national and local good practice and clinical guidance, including but not limited to the appropriate NICE guidelines, quality standards, pathways and local authority briefings.
