What is being bought
The Council’s, Environmental Services has an ongoing statutory obligation in terms of air quality under the Environment Act 1995. The obligations on the Council include the monitoring and subsequent reporting of air quality to protect and enhance standards of air quality in South Lanarkshire. Environmental Services require a fully managed service with one contractor to supply, service, repair, and maintain all of the Council’s air monitoring equipment.
