NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership (NWSSP) is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified suppliers for the re-tender of Lot 15 – Manual Paediatric Postural Advanced Wheelchairs under the Supply of Wheelchairs, Associated Parts and Accessories agreement.
Lot 15 is for a manual paediatric wheelchair offering complex postural support including highly configurable modular dynamic seating and tilt in space.
This lot was not awarded during the previous procurement exercise and NWSSP is undertaking renewed market engagement to identify suppliers capable of providing manual paediatric wheelchairs designed to meet complex postural and clinical needs.

- Stage 1 Compliant Bid: Tender responses will be checked to ensure that the supplier has submitted a compliant tender and it has been completed correctly and all necessary information has been provided.
- Stage 2- Conditions of Participation: If a Bidder succeeds in passing Stage 1 of the evaluation, then it will be assessed on the basis of the information provided in response to each of the questions set out in the Conditions for Participation (Qualification). The Qualification Envelope will be evaluated to determine the Bidders capacity and capability to provide the requirement.
- Stage 3 Technical Non-scored : Bidders must provide a response to all mandatory questions within the technical section of the tender. Failure to provide a response or a response that is relevant to the question may result in elimination from the process.
- Stage 4 Technical Scored : Bidders who have passed all preceding stages will have the technical (non-scored) response evaluated in accordance with the evaluation methodology set out in Section 7 in this ITT
- Stage 5- Product Evaluation : Physical Evaluation may not be necessary and will only be called upon to verify products that have passed the technical evaluation. Bidders will, as part of the response to this ITT, be required to provide a number of samples for evaluation. Bidders who fail to supply samples for evaluation will be eliminated from the process. Products required for sample will be fully communicated to suppliers as part of the evaluation process.
- Stage 6- Commerical/Pricing: Bidders who have passed all preceding stages will have the commercial response evaluated. This will be evaluated on MAT
