Transforming Access to Medicines (TRAMS) is a programme of transformational change to Pharmacy Technical Services within NHS Wales, including participation by all the Health Boards and Trusts. Part of that programme is a 65m GBP investment in 3 new regional medicines preparation facilities. The Programme Business Case was endorsed by the Minister for Health & Social Care in March 2021. The South-East Wales Hub Project sits within the TRAMS programme and aims to deliver a 30m GBP investment in a medicines preparation hub, including regional service to South-East Wales as well as certain national capabilities. This project commenced in April 2021 and is in progress.
